HOW LONG?

How Long Will It Take?

VicRoads Requires You to be 18 Years of Age and to Have Held a Learner Permit Continuously for 12 Months Prior to Your Drive Test. If You Are 25+, Then This Requirement is Only 6 Months. If You Get Your Learners Permit at 16 and Practice For I Hour EVERY WEEK You will Be Close to The 120 Hour Requirement By the Time You Turn 18. We Realise That This Timetable Is Not Always Available to All Clients and as a Result, We Can Accelerate our Training Program to Meet Your Circumstances. However, VicRoads Does Not Relax the 120 Hours of Practice Required. The Longer You wait, The More Difficult It Becomes. VicRoads Appointment Bookings Have a Waiting List of 6 - 8 Weeks and a Hazard Perception Test Must Be Satisfactorily Completed Before You Are Allowed to Do Your Test Drive.

So, a Minimum Timeframe is 3-6 Months for You to Satisfactorily Complete All Requirements. If You Want to Get Your Licence on Your Birthday, We Recommend You Arrange Professional Weekly Lessons and Drive and Hazard Perception Test Bookings 6 Months Before Your 18th Birthday!
